Duh Nail Polish Sweet Spring Collection Part Two Swatch and Review!

**Press Sample**

Hello my loves and happy Tuesday! I was hoping to have this post up yesterday but I was stuck in bed with a KILLER migraine. I can't wait to show you this collection, if you haven't seen my post of Part One you can find it here.

The biggest and best difference of this collection is it is so different from part one but yet accompanies it SO well. Let's get going and see some beautiful polishes.

First up is Bella Dancerella. This polish is named after her niece Bella, and is "a light purple crelly with purple flakes, hot pink stars, hot pink glitters, and micro glitters." This, is my kind of polish. I told Danyl when she first posted sneak peaks that I would definitely love it, and that I do!

I think the light purple with the hot pink glitters is what makes this different. I haven't seen something like this pop up in the indie world and for that this gets an A++ from me!

For this swatch I used three thin coats topped with topcoat. I loved seeing each star come out and slide onto my nail. *Now that I read that back to myself it sounds a bit dirty ;)* But really, I love shaped glitters, there isn't many I can't pass up.

You can really see all of the micro glitter in this macro bottle shot. What do you think of Bella Dancerella?

Next up is Bloom Where You're Planted. WOW. Can we please take a moment of silence to just look at this. It's a jam packed glitter bomb filled with different color micro glitter.

I couldn't believe my eyes after I put this on. I couldn't stop staring at the reflection of glitters against the light, it was like watching colorful christmas lights dancing on my nails. Odd description, but really, this is beyond gorgeous.

I used two delicious coats, yes, TWO! Plus two coats of topcoat to smooth it out. I was really surprised that it wasn't very glitter hungry with the topcoat but I did the second coat to ensure it to be smooth.

This is one that I will be wearing a lot for spring/summer. I can't wait to wear it poolside :)

Next up is Sugar Buns Kins. OH HELLO BEAUTIFUL POLISH! I know, your probably dumbfounded by now, I know I was. This is another jam packed glitter bomb full of white and multi colored micro glitters.

This one by far stunned me the most. The pink, yellow and purple micro glitters along with loads of iridescent glitter is out right OUTSTANDING. I loved this one so much that after swatching all of the polishes, I did a full manicure with this. I got loads of compliments and people asking where I got this polish. By now I should carry around Danyl's business cards haha!

I think that her nieces carry some magical dust, because every polish that she makes after them is nothing but perfection.

Just look at that macro shot. I. Cant. Even. For my swatch I used two coats plus two coats of topcoat to even it out.

Next up is I  See You Peppin'. This is a beautiful bright pink crelly filled with white and hot pink micro glitters.

I'm really starting to love the micro glitters throughout this collection. Again, this isn't something like anything I own in my collection. The formula was smooth, buttery and full of joy.

This made my hands look so tan, I was very happy. I'm usually extremely pastey so this one just made me fool *good.* And I don't get that very often. I used three easy thin coats topped with HK Girl.

Isn't it beautiful? What a great color combination. Another one I can see myself wearing often through spring and summer.

Now we have Diamond in the Rough.  "The month of April birthstone is diamond. This polish is a light gray crelly packed full with all different size rainbow shifting glitters."

I was so upset I couldn't quit catch the shift of the glitters in this one. But I can tell you that it is PERFECT. It really does look like a diamond on your nails with the rainbow of glitters dancing on your nails.

For this swatch I used three thin coats plus topcoat. You can see a little VNL even after three coats but that didn't bother me one bit. I was more concentrated on the glitters :) But you could easily layer this over a muted grey color, something similar to China Glaze Seaspray to get a more opaque outcome.

Lastly, we have Time for Flip Flops. This is a beautiful bright teal with green and white micro glitters.
I love that in most of these polishes there is micro glitter.

Another great polish for spring. I can't wait to do a pedicure with this one, and trust me when I say this, I AM NOT a foot gal. I rarely never (lol) do my toe nails. But this color just screams pedicure time.

For this I used two creamy coats of TFFF topped with HK Girl.

Isn't it a beauty? Oh how I can't believe this whole collection has been nothing but BEAUTIFUL polishes.

Sugar Buns Kins and Bloom Where You're Planted were the two that stunned me most. These are polishes that I saw and didn't know I needed them in my collection until I put them on. They are so gorgeous and could be used in several different ways!

This whole collection is available now on her etsy for $8.00 each or $42.00 for the whole collection. You don't want to miss out on Part One or Part Two of this collection. Duh Nail Polish has become one of my favorite indie brands and working with Danyl has been such a pleasure.

Which are your favorites?

Until Next Time!

Liquid Sky Lacquer Bee Mine.. Unplugged Swatches!

**Nothing to Disclose**

Welcome back my glitter friends!! Today I have a really great post for you. My very first ever Liquid Sky Lacquer! And oh boy she is a beauty.

Just take a second.... isn't it lovely? Right down to the color combination in the glitters. If my jaw could drop, it would be to the floor!

Bee Mine Unplugged is a clear base packed full of black. yellow, and pink glitters in it. I had to do NO fishing (HOORAY!) And it was a beautiful application as well.

I used two coats of BMU over 2 coats of China Glaze- Lemon Fizz. I'm so glad I put the glitter over a yellow base. It made everything really POP! Topped with HK Girl topcoat.

You can purchase Liquid Sky Lacquer at her store for pricing and new collections!

What do you think of Bee Mine Unplugged? I purchased a few other polishes from her, would you like to see those swatched?

Floral Water Decal Born Pretty Store Review

**Press Sample**

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! Wow, today is such a beautiful day outside in Arizona. Our weather has been great the last week, breezy cool weather. What's going on Arizona? Whatever it is keep it coming!
Today I have a review of some beautiful nail art with water decals from bornprettystore.

These water decals are so dainty and cute. They are perfect for a interview or work appropriate manicure, especially when paired with a neutral base color.

The one thing I loved about these was how easy they were to apply. It's like a tattoo for your nails! What I did was got a small cup of water, put each decal in the water to let them soak, pulled off the transfer paper and put them on my nail. When I placed them on my nail they were easy to move right into the spot I wanted.

The style I chose was Y104 and they can be found here. Right along with many other styles.

I put these decals over OPI My Very First Knockwurst. I loved the color pairing, it was so perfect for the color of the decals.

One thing I'de like to mention as well, is I topcoated my base color BEFORE and AFTER I put the decals on to ensure I wouldn't ruin the base color.

What do you think of these beautiful decals? You can purchase them and many others on the bornprettystore website along with many other beautiful nail art items. You can use my code BUL91 for 10% off of your purchase AND you get free shipping on ALL orders! No matter how much you spend:)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I'll see you with more beautiful products from Born Pretty Store very soon!

Until Next Time!

Duh Nail Polish "Sweet Spring" Collection Swatch and Review

**Press Sample**

Hello Beauties and Happy Thursday! I apologize for the absence but thank everyone for the well wishes on instagram. My family has been sick, myself included after having a seizure so I haven't had much energy. But enough with the sad stuff, I have some really exciting polishes to show you today.

Danyl just released Part 1 of her "Sweet Spring" Collection and that's what I'll be showing you today! There are 6 polishes in the first part that are absolutely breathtaking.

First up, is Bring Me Spring Flowers. This is a "creamy coral polish with an assortment of bright micro glitters"

This polish is SO beautiful in person, much brighter on the nail than in the bottle. It was hard to capture the true color because it is very bright so my camera did a little tripping on me but I think I got very close to true color.

If I had been super careful this could have EASILY been a one coater, I opted for two plus topcoat. I also tried to do a little holo stamping on my ring finger but failed miserably. I love this polish and would recommend it to the WORLD. yes, the WORLD!

Next up is Sassafras Lex. This "is a pastel pink crelly with white micro hex glitter, multiple colored dots, aqua butterflies and lavender daisies." It was named after one of her neices' who is very Sassy ;)

This is two thin coats with a little glitter placement plus HK Girl Topcoat. I also added a couple of fimo slice butterflies for a little extra "Sas"

I love that this one is full of different shapes, color, and sizes of glitter. Because we all know I'm the queen of all glitter shaped goodness.

Next up, is April Showers. This is a "creamy teal blue with electric blue micro flakies"

The formula on this was a little tricky, I did add a couple drops of thinner and that solved my problem. It wasn't thick or gloopy, just, tricky. It is gorgeous and SO worth it, especially when you hit the right lighting.

I used three thin coats plus HK Girl Topcoat. Isn't she a beauty?

Next up is, Such An Egghead. "This is a pastel yellow crelly with subtle yellow shimmer, micro white hexes, multiple colored dots and large pink and lavender dots." I love the glitters in this, paired with the pastel yellow. PURE PERFECTION!

I used two thin coats plus topcoat to achieve opacity, topped with HK Girl Topcoat. Easily, another favorite of mine.

Next up, we have Bunny Bums. "This is a soft white crelly with pink flakies, pink hex glitters and rosy pink dots."

This one is truly outstanding. I love when in a collection there is at least one pallete cleansing polish and this folks, is it. The glitters are perfectly placed.

I used three thin coats plus HK Girl Topcoat. The formula on this one was fantastic, no streaking or balding at all! I also placed cute fimo slices to match the name of this cute polish.

Last, but not least, is Jellies in My Belly. OHEMGEE, this one is probably my favorite of them all. This is " glitter bomb packed with multiple colored dots and full of shifting rainbow flakies."

This is ONE coat of Jellies in My Belly over April Showers. DO YOU SEE IT? All the glitter goodness that comes straight from the bottle, no digging or fishing. Oh the gloriousness (yes, I made that up, it's that good"

What do you think of this collection? Didn't Danyl do a wonderful job? I'm so happy I had the oppertunity to swatch this collection, I love spring time and these scream spring! Remember, this is Part 1 ao she has more in the works for us!

This collection is available NOW at her etsy and also keep up with her on instagram at duh_nail_polish and her facebook as well!

Until Next Time!
